Hi Mums and Dads

I’m a mother of three, a newborn sleep specialist and the creator of the Asleep in 12 method, a.k.a how to get your newborn sleeping 12 hours a night, in 12 weeks or less.

The routine I now teach evolved organically through a decade of night-nannying. I began noticing and documenting how certain settling techniques, wrapping methods, feeding and sleeping routines helped babies sleep through the night faster.

And now I’m on a mission to show parents just how much more ease they can bring to their postpartum experience.

What sets me apart from other sleep consultants

If you work with me, you won’t need a sleep consultant

Parents often end up hiring sleep consultants when they’re in the throes of sleep deprivation. My method stops that from becoming your reality in the first place. I begin working with you and your newborn from day one to set up a healthy day and night routine before poor sleep habits have a chance to form.

My service doesn’t end after the consultatation, I am with you all the way

I’m there to support you from day one in hospital, until your little one is sleeping through the night and through all the transitions they make in between. Whether it’s about what teet size you should get for the bottle or checking their poop colour – yes I’m here for it all. Think of me as your trouble-shooter, your fairy-sleep-mother and your personal empowerment coach who is only a phone call away.

I guarantee that your newborn will be sleeping through the night sooner than you imagine

The method I teach has an incredibly high success rate when applied correctly and consistently. You may have been told that a newborn is too young to be trained and I’m here to tell you that’s simply not true. You can hear about some of my clients’ stories on the success stories page.

A letter to all the parents

As a mother of three I truly wish that someone had given me the proper guidance on baby sleep when I had my little ones (who are now big ones).

When I had my first, I was a new mum with a new baby that would not sleep for longer than a few hours, no matter what I did.

When this sort of thing goes on too long, even the most confident parent in the world begins to question themselves.

I was sure I was doing something wrong but at the time I didn’t know what to do instead.

Over the years I saw so many mothers struggle with their mental health as a result of sleep deprivation and the pressure to be a superhuman who handles everything on her own, deals with the exhaustion and smiles through it all. It’s unrealistic and harmful.

I’ve seen marriages descend into crisis because parents are hanging on by a thread, having no time or energy for themselves or each other.
And while a baby will inevitably change your life, there are no prizes for the most exhausted or stressed out parents.

There’s a reason why they say it takes a village to raise a child and once upon a time, that was the norm. Then somewhere along the lines it began to be a point of shame to ask for help and a measure of good mothering to suffer in silence.

Part of the reason a “village” helps is that they can offer the parents a break. In addition to comfort, support, laughter and connection, they let you get some sleep.

You may not have a village around you but you CAN reclaim your rest and energy through sleep and that will make a huge difference.

I am here to support and help you create more ease, peace and joy during your postpartum period.

And remind you that you’re doing a bloody brilliant job.

Are you ready to reclaim your energy and sleep?

This is the most precious, the most challenging, the most demanding and profoundly transformative time in your life. Quality sleep will be your greatest ally.
